Inspired by our home on the edge of the Pacific Ocean and brewed using all Australian barley, wheat and Galaxy hops, Pacific Ale is cloudy and golden with a big fruity aroma and a refreshing finish. After being dry hopped at the end of fermentation, Stone & Wood Pacific Ale is then drawn fresh into kegs and bottles.
The Original Pacific Ale
We use finest Australian pale malt, including rolled wheat and malted wheat, creating a high protein content resulting in a hazy appearance and full yet refreshing finish.
We absolutely love Galaxy hops! Grown in Victoria and Tassie by Hop Products Australia, this proprietary variety was once an experimental hop until Brad (our Co-founder) came along and was keen to play around with it. Fast forward 10 years, the demand for this hop is high and we’re proud that we were the original using it and that our Pacific Ale is… the original. We dry hop with Galaxy at the late stages of fermentation creating this beer’s unique tropical fruit aroma
Pacific Ale goes beautifully with fresh seafood – prawns, lobster, oysters and fresh fish.
